The following details our contractual terms and conditions. Once a client understands and is satisfied with the terms of the contract, a copy will be signed by both Canadian Film Crew Inc. and the client prior to any rental.
1. RESERVING EQUIPMENT
Quotes and inquiries do not guarantee availability of rental equipment. Equipment and items will be reserved only upon receipt of a security deposit (the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE) and signed rental contract. All reserved equipment is subject to 50% cancellation fee up to 10 days before the event. Equipment cancelled less than ten days from event will be charged full rental price.
2. DEPOSIT
The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
3. DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT
For any damaged or broken equipment customer will be held responsible for 100% of the cost and repair.
Responsibility for equipment remains with the client from the time of delivery to the time of pickup.
The Customer shall be liable to Canadian Film Crew Inc. for all damages, including but not limited to the disappearance, soiling or staining of all or any part of the equipment. In the event of damage to the equipment due to any cause whatsoever, the customer agrees to notify Canadian Film Inc. of this damage within 12 hours. Please be sure all equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather.
4. VANDALISM
The customer shall take all necessary precautions to prevent loss of or any damage to the equipment by vandalism, defacement, theft, arson or other unlawful behaviour, and, in the event of default in this connection, the Customer shall be responsible to make good on all such loss or damage.
5. BILLING
Customers will be billed from the time their rental (portable washroom, folding chairs or tables) is dropped off within 24 hours.
6. FINAL PAYMENT
Clients must provide Canadian Film Crew Inc. with a final payment 10 days prior to delivery or pick up at which time a final invoice with balance due will be provided. Full payment is due 7 days prior to event. No orders will be scheduled for delivery until full payment is received. An order is considered complete 2 days prior to scheduled delivery or pick up.
7. DELIVERY/PICKUP SERVICE
Delivery service is available on all orders regardless of size. All fees are based on tailgate delivery and charged by geographic location. Additional delivery charges will occur for 2nd floor or higher delivery locations, excessive distance for loading and unloading trucks, specific delivery and pickup times, and after-hours delivery and pickup. All items will be delivered and picked up at a designated location. Responsibility for equipment remains with the client from the time of delivery to the time of pickup. Please be sure all equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather.
8. DELIVERY FEES
Canadian Film Crew Inc. will do its best to honour client delivery request however, delays and changes in the schedule are sometimes unavoidable. We try to communicate any scheduling changes as they occur. All the items will be delivered and picked-up at a prearranged designated location. The client should be available to inspect product condition of rental items upon delivery and pick-up. Extra charges will apply for some requests, locations and set-ups.
9. SITE PREPARATION
Please be sure your site is ready (i.e. lawns mowed, vehicles out of the way, etc.) before crew arrives. All customers must provide proper parking for portable washrooms with leveled parking and no obstructions.
10. LAST MINUTE/ON-CALL SERVICE
Applicable fees may be applied to any last minute or on-call services made after normal business hours.
11. ON-SITE SERVICE
Applicable charges will be applied for the following on-site service: clean up, re-stocking, flushing, water refill, re-locating and waiting time/stand by.
12. CLEAN UP / PREPARATION FOR PICKUP
Additional charges will be added if the site is not ready or accessible when the crew arrives. All portable washrooms should be accessible for pick up and in working order/as delivered as well as generators. Chairs and tables should be stacked in one place for pick up.
*Additional labour fee will be added for assembling (setting up) and disassembling (tearing down) tables and chairs.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Be sure all equipment is returned according to these TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
